This switch is feasible of fiber to the home (FTTH), fiber to the building (FTTB) and fiber to the desktop (FTTD), remote video monitoring, large factories, campus network, and other places to provide flexible and efficient fiber Ethernet solutions.

For effective management of this switch, M00SWF16F2A equipped with remote web management functions. This switch provides programmatic web management functions, such as port configuration, based on port / IEEE 802.1 Q/MTU VLAN, port mirror, port cluster, QoS, and bandwidth control, broadcast storm suppression, STP, RSTP, backup, reset function, MAC address/TCP & UDP filtering and IGMP Snooping v1 / v2. M00SWF16F2A provides MTU VLAN based on the port or the IEEE 802.1Q (port -based/IEEE 802.1 Q VLAN including overlapping). These VLAN groups allow M00SWF16F2A configuration up to 26 VLAN on the basis of the port or 32 based on IEEE 802.1 Q VLAN group. On the other hand, MTU VLAN could separate the 16 ports into port 1 to port 16 individual port, these ports can only access a public port 25/26 or 26 (this is very important to FTTB).By supporting port aggregation function, M00SWF16F2A allows the bounding of the same rate of ports in becoming a high speed trunk port.M00SWF16F2A supports two groups the maximum 4x100Base-FX binding to one group and supports full duplex 800Mbps bandwidth trunk port, or one group with 2 ports 10/100/1000Mbps link aggregation, to support the full duplex 2000 Mbps bandwidth per trunk, and support the failover.

Easily support long distance transmission mode:

M00SWF16F2A switch fits two Gigabit optical multiplexing ports, which support 1000 base-T transmission rates up to 10/100/1000 Mbps, also support 1000Base- SX/LX SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) interface. Transmission distance extends from 100 meters (twisted pair cable) to 550 meters (multimode fiber), and 10/20/30/40/50/70/120km (Single mode fiber).
